On Sunday, I received this message and video from a former NU Breed athlete watching our Jazmin 12U play. It is encouraging and pleasant to read.
"This is what NU Breed is!!! This team is a perfect example of everything this club represents. Lost in the first set, but they were going for every ball and encouraging each other. They dominated in the second set. Then in the third set, they were down by 4 and came back. They never let the ball fall without extreme effort; they never let themselves get in their heads despite bad ref calls and missed points. And the parents were amazing!"
Read and savor these words for a while.
