You Lose But Win
In December 2012, Spanish long-distance runner Ivan Fernandez Anaya while competing in the Burlada Cross race in Navarra, in Spain, pushed Abel Mutai of Kenya to victory ahead of himself.
The Kenyan runner could not follow the Spanish signs and stopped running a few meters before the finish line. Mutai thought he had finished the race.
Realizing what was taking place, Fernandez pushed Mutai to victory by pointing Mutai to the finish line.
A journalist asked Ivan, "Why did you do that?" Ivan replied, "My dream is that someday we can have a kind of community life where we push and help each other to win."
NU Breed Volleyball works to build a Tribe that pulls for each other to win. A community that encourages each other to be good. We celebrate a player that takes a step to becoming better.
We are intentional about becoming a Tribe that pushes and help each other win.
We are NU Breed, the rumor of something good.
