When you choose to create, you begin to see beauty and possibilities in everything. The worst scenarios contain the material to make a better future.
Creating makes one vulnerable because there is a risk that others will not appreciate or like what you create, and you are emotionally attached to what you make. However, there are some risks that worse than not taking the risk in the first place.
Sadly, many cannot see a better tomorrow because of fear. Fear in these days has become the dominant voice in many people's heads. We want to play it safe. But what is safe?
In a few weeks, many will be deciding to choose to play club or not to play because of safety concerns. I understand. The way the season ended last year was disappointing. No one wants to repeat that event.
We are reluctant to step into uncertainty, but that's where greatness awaits, as I wrote before. When I dealt with the fear of making a decision, a mentor told me, "you don't stop eating because of the fear that you might choke."
This quote speaks of paralyzing fear. There are many ways to die, but are we willing to live? This question is being answered by humanity in 2020.
If you want to live the life you imagine, you must take a risk; that's how life works. Remember this; if you are not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.
