Let's Get Ready To Rumble!

Good things come out of difficult moments. One of those is the cooperation between the California Scholastic Federation (CIF) and Volleyball Club organizations. The organizations partnered to create the best possible scenario for junior athletes.

Significant decisions that help create the best resolution were made. Athletes will be allowed to play both club and high school sports at the same time. Club coaches are permitted to coach their high school athletes on Sunday too.

SCVA will have club Tryouts September 19, with Commitment letters allowed to be signed starting September 22. Therefore NU Breed will conduct Tryouts on September 22 with details to be posted soon.

NU Breed will follow the rules and will not receive signed Player Comittemnt letters before that date. We want to do things with integrity.

Parents will register directly with USA Volleyball through a new system. It is to user friendly and will simplify the registration process.

SCVA will host tournaments in October and November. There will be no upper-division matches during December and most of January. These six weeks are when high schools will play most of their games.

Any player having their 18th birthday during any part of the season MUST complete an online Safety Training to be able to play.

The NCVA or AAU tournament schedule is not available yet, but we will post it when it is published.

This year will require some flexibility for a couple of months, but I am confident it will be an excellent club season.

We plan to have the same teams: VolleyTots, 12's, 14's, 16's, 17's, and 18's. We appreciate you telling others about the quality training and experienced coaches at NU Breed Volleyball.

The area doesn't need another volleyball club; it needs a better one, and NU Breed is that club.
